My interest in musical theatre started early—ever since I played an orphan in Oliver! in elementary school. This section gathers the creative work that grows out of that connection, mostly through photos that capture moments of performance, staging, and character. I’m drawn to the way musical theatre blends story, movement, pacing, and emotion, and these images often reflect the sparks that shape my ideas.
The short notes that accompany them hint at how I think about dramatic structure, character presence, and the visual possibilities of stage‑based worlds. In addition to performing, I love attending theatre, and shows like Hadestown, Hamilton, and Wicked continue to influence how I imagine rhythm, storytelling, and character energy. Together, these pieces form an early record of ideas that often inform my illustration, animation, and broader creative practice.
